[ Tame ]
Usage: tame animal
Tame will attempt to bring an animal to your side and allow you to use this
follower to complete certain tasks which you ask it to. Although tame will
only work on animal types, non-humanoids, it is a great way of adding
additional power to your group.
After you have tamed at least one animal you may use the 'order' command to
request them to perform tasks you desire.
For more information, see 'help order'.
[ Takushiki ]
Usage: automatic
Takushiki, also known as clearsightedness, works directly with Shadow. It has
been rumored to offer increased range of sight and possible offering an even
greater range than hunt. Takushiki will automatically improve as Shadow is used
and cannot be triggered in any other way. Takushiki will offer no benefits
until it is nearly mastered, but when such a point is reached, it will assist
the user correctly and without fail.
[ Taktikos of ranged warfare ]
Usage: taktikos of ranged warfare
Ranged combat is different than melee combat. To excel in ranged combat, one
must concentrate more on finesse and patience, than swinging randomly in a
general area, as is usually the case with melee battles.
Taktikos of ranged warfare is a tactic of combat which focuses on ranged
combat in order to increases one's ability to throw weapons accurately. The
improvements made by this throwing tactic not only increases the ability to
hit targets, but also greatly increases the damage done to the target because
the throws are so well placed.
The effectiveness of this tactic is based on the user's intellect and speed, as
a weapon thrown smartly will naturally hit more accurately, yet that weapon
also needs to thrown quickly in order to take advantage of the opportunity that
is usually closing fast.
The greater the user's constitution the longer the affects of the tactic last.
[ Temple Touch ]
Usage: temple touch target
Usage: temple touch (when already in battle - targets opponent)
Quiet warriors dedicated to the contemplation of the physical and the
spiritual, the eldest of the monks have a supreme understanding of the body -
both in terms of its physiology, and as a conduit for spiritual energy.
Employing this knowledge, the most skilled of monks have developed methods of
slowly drawing forth their inner force, then delivering it to a vulnerable
point on their victim's body - with frightening results.
Carefully gathering one's life force and focusing it into the hands for
delivery is a difficult process, and as such it takes some time to complete.
Once gathered, the monk steps forth and attempts to channel the energy into
a weak point on their opponent's body with a touch. This action requires
great accuracy and dexterity on the monk's part; a well-placed touch can
result in a more effective delivery. In contrast, it is much more difficult
to target an agile opponent's vulnerable point.
If successful, the monk's energy is channeled through the point of contact,
resulting in a powerful paralyzing blow. The power of this channeling is
such that the victim will be rendered absolutely helpless for a period of
time - making the victim much easier to hit, as well as COMPLETELY unable
to perform any attacks or actions, for a short period of time.
Never underestimate the quiet warrior.
[ Telekinetic Projection ]
Projecting in a direction syntax:
telekinetic projection item keyword, direction
telekinetic projection item multiple keywords, direction
Example:
-> telekinetic projection 2.spoon metal, north
-> tel pro spoon, n
-> telekinetic spoon, up
Projecting at a target syntax (must first set a target via 'target'):
telekinetic projection item keyword, target
Example:
-> telekinetic projection 2.spoon metal, target
-> tel pro spoon, tar
-> telekinetic spoon, target
Telekinetic projection uses your intellect and wisdom as additional damage
modifiers, therefore the more intelligent and wiser you are, the more damage
you inflict when projecting weapons at your opponents.
For more information see 'help target' on how to lock in a target.
[ The bending codex ]
Usage: the bending codex target
Usage: the bending codex (no target supplied, automatically targets self)
Druids are mystical creatures. One never knows how much of their environment
will be under their control. The bending codex is an extension of the druid's
environmental control. When used, a field is created around the target which
bends obstacles away from the target, allowing passage through otherwise
impassable terrain.
The effectiveness of the codex, both in duration and power, is based on the
druid's wisdom. The duration before using another codex is based on the
druid's constitution.
[ The prayer of guardianship ]
Usage: the prayer of guardianship
Some consider the priestess to be weaker than its brother healer class. Some
would consider the bishop to be the ruling class of the partnership between the
bishop and the priestess. Some are wrong.
The prayer of guardianship is a salute to the power of the priestess. Moving
beyond the power if its brother class, the prayer of guardianship dwarfs that
of its brother's counterpart prayer. The being which is called by the prayer
of guardianship is so powerful, it is possible that priestesses may have the
most powerful guardians of all classes in Nodeka.
The power of the prayer of guardianship is based on every attribute and pool
of the priestess. However, be warned, the toll on its usage is great and the
recovery time needed before being used again is even greater.
[ The ruining song ]
Usage: the ruining song target
Usage: the ruining song (when already in battle - targets opponent)
A song of destruction. The ruining song is one of the more dangerous songs of
the valkyrie. Its use is limited to battle and has a direct affect on the
damage done by the user. The ruining song has a severe drain on the user and
also incurs a severe recover period before the valkyrie can sing another song.
That said, the massive damage that can be done by a ruiner is incredible indeed.
The power of the ruining song is controlled by the wisdom of the user and the
short duration of the song is increased by increased constitution.
[ The shielding prayer ]
Usage: the shielding prayer
What can be said about this prayer is that it shields like no other defensive
skill (or spell for that matter). For a duration dependent upon the user's
constitution, the user and perhaps friends of the user will be unattackable.
The actual range of the prayer (number of creatures affected by its use) is
dependent upon the user's intellect. The strength of the unattackable state is
determined by the user's wisdom. Be forewarned, those within the shield are
suffer the same interference from battle as those outside of the shield.
[ Thunderous Strike ]
Usage: thunderous strike
When Warriors have spent a decent amount of time learning, they can begin to
focus their minds more solely on their natural fighting type qualities.
Thunderous strike is one example of this type of outlet. Thunderous strike
will attempt to make the Warrior more concerned with letting out the rage
kept within them, but into one well timed, well placed attack. Because
thunderous strike uses the Warriors natural ability to rise above other classes
in pure melee combat, thunderous strike cannot be parried, dodged or evaded.
A thunderous strike attempts to let out a single attack that will use the well
formed mind of the warrior into a devastating attack. For those who have been
seen using this ability, not many have been known to miss. As the intellect
and wisdom of the Warrior improve, the understanding of thunderous strike does
as well, which reflects a higher percent of frequency. This power is temporary
and must be replenished from time to time as the affects are far from
permanent. Be wary though, thunderous strike is indeed powerful, some have
even claimed that thunderous strike is superior to colossal attack. Whether
that claim is true or not, has yet to be seen.
[ Throw ]
Throwing in a direction syntax:
throw item keyword, direction
throw item multiple keywords, direction
Example:
-> throw 2.dagger black, north
-> throw dagger, n
-> throw dag, up
Throwing at a target syntax (must first set a target via 'target'):
throw item keyword, target
Example:
-> throw 2.dagger black, target
-> throw dagger, tar
-> throw dag, target
Throwing uses your strength and speed as additional damage modifiers, therefore
the stronger and faster you are, the more damage you inflict when throwing
weapons at your opponents.
For more information see 'help target' on how to lock in a target.
[ Trip ]
Usage: trip target
Usage: trip (when already in battle - targets opponent)
Tripping is the act of bringing your opponent to the ground, usually by
destabilizing their balance and knocking them over. This skill will render
the victim grounded, which will make them much easier to hit for a short period
while they attempt to regain their balance and proper fighting stance. Should
the aggressor fail in their attempt to trip, they may incur the loss of
balance.
[ Trail Concealment ]
Usage: trail concealment
When one knows not only how to control their body through their agility, but
also has a high enough intellect and wisdom of their surroundings, it is
possible to without leaving a scent or trail. The most obvious use of this
skill is to prevent others from following your tracks. This means being able
to flee freely from combat without monsters being able to follow your movement,
which is extremely useful at times. Trail concealment's duration isn't great,
as it is difficult to maintain such control over one's own body as to prevent
all forms of trails from being left behind.
[ Trial of aggression ]
Usage: trial of aggression target
Usage: trial of aggression (when already in battle - targets opponent)
Anger can have a variety of side-effects, many of them uncontrolled, unless in
the hands of a master of emotional control. Barbarians for long periods of time
have been confused as being victim to their own emotions, when in fact they are
masters, more than any creature, of their emotions. One example of this is the
trial of aggression. This form of emotional control allows the user a chance to
instill fear into a target preventing any form of action for a period of time.
The more educated the barbarian is, the longer he can instill fear in a victim.
The greater the barbarian's physical conditioning, the faster he can recover
from this trial in order to perform another.
[ Trial of amplified vigor ]
Usage: trial of amplified vigor
Flared tempers are often used for destruction. Trial of amplified vigor is a
method of using a raised level of excitement to raise one's own physical
stature. Based on education and creativity, a barbarian with a strong
intellectual mind can often 'will' himself to become nearly twice the man he
is in reality for extended periods of time.
